Give the food organizer a simple starting point

If you’re organizing a team party around a visit to East Alton Ice Arena, the food conversation can grow quickly. Players, parents, and other people joining the get-together may all be responding at different times. Our advice is to start with one useful number: how many people are you planning to feed? From there, you can compare actual packages instead of juggling a collection of separate suggestions.

Penalty Box Bar & Grill is at 17 Eastgate Plaza, East Alton, IL 62024. Call (618) 216-2346 to talk about your team’s plans. We’re not putting a travel time or distance on your visit; start with the address and make your own arrangements. A clear time and head count give the person organizing food a much better starting point.

Choose a package by name

The Power Play Pack costs $89.99, feeds 10, and includes 3 specialty pizzas + two 12-wing orders. The Hat Trick Pack costs $179.99 and feeds 20. The Variety Pizza Package is $74.99. When you contact Penalty Box, use the exact package name so the conversation stays about the option you’re actually considering.

Don’t assume every package has the same contents or that one package is the right answer for every team. Ask your group about food preferences before you settle on a plan. Having those answers together makes it easier to choose from the menu and catering options without sending another round of messages to everyone.

Keep tray counts easy to follow

Wing trays come in three sizes: 25 for $34.99, 50 for $69.99, and 100 for $139.99. Those counts are useful when several people are helping with a food order. Write down the chosen tray size and price alongside the package name, rather than leaving the organizer to work out what somebody meant by “a big tray.”

For a team party, it also helps to separate the food decision from the space decision. Event space is available at Penalty Box. Call to discuss your plans and ask about arrangements; mentioning the party in a team chat is not the same as confirming it with us. Larger catering is available through 618cater.com.

Match the party plan to our hours

Penalty Box is open Sunday 11am–10pm, Monday 4–9:30pm, Tuesday and Wednesday 11am–9:30pm, Thursday 11am–10:30pm, Friday 11am–11pm, and Saturday 11:30am–11pm. Check the day carefully before suggesting a gathering time. In particular, Monday opens at 4pm and Saturday opens at 11:30am.

The best team-party plan is one everyone can understand: where to go, when to meet, and what food has been chosen. Browse the menu, review the Game Day Bundles on the catering page, and contact Penalty Box with your head count. You can call, order online, or visit 618cater.com for larger catering. Keep that final step clear so the food plan doesn’t stay unfinished.
